実在する人、絵画のなかの人、さまざな顔や衣服のパーツを組み合わせて架空の美しい人物を描きました。 それぞれの人にとっての穏やかで落ち着いた平和な状態をイメージして描いています。 今回は、古代ギリシャの墓碑にあるコレー像やクーロス像の、リアリティがありながらも人間の理想像のような姿を意識して描きました。
I depicted beautiful fictional figures by combining the various faces and clothing of people who actually exist, as well as people in paintings. I did so by imagining a calm, serene, and peaceful state that each person may desire. For this project, I drew figures that are realistic yet idealistic, just like Kore or Kuros on ancient Greek tombstones.

自然で穏やかな事柄やものが好きで日頃から平和をテーマに制作しています。最近は花と人がテーマです。 ものの細部を観察しているとそのものにしかない個性や特徴が見えてくるような感覚があります。そのような特徴を捉えて描き込むことがわたしの制作スタイルです。 普段は、油彩画の模写を中心とした絵画技法研究を行っています。
I like natural and peaceful matters and objects, and I have been working everyday on the theme of peace. Most recently, I have been focusing on flowers and people. When I observe the details of an object, I feel that can see its unique personality and characteristics. My style is to capture and depict such characteristics. Normally, I study classical oil painting techniques by reproducing them.
