地下鉄の駅で爆破テロに関わる男女４人。実行犯、ニュースキャスター、生存者、そして犠牲者。それら４つのキャラクターをひとりで演じる群像モノオペラ。 私たちはわかりあえるのか。 本作は、モノオペラ『PLAT HOME』のラストシーン『DEADEND〜少女とテロリストの対話』である。 ここでは、この世ならざる場所で冥界への電車を待ちながら、犠牲者となった移民の少女とテロリストの男が対話を交わす。二人は最早互いを憎んではいないが、テロとは別の可能性を見出すことが出来ないままに時が過ぎていく。二人が求める「正義」は同じなのか、違うのか？終わりのない対話が続き電車はやってこない。本作の二人の姿は、この社会の矛盾と互いが理解し合うことの困難さを痛感させる。だが、犠牲者とテロリストの対話はどこにも辿りつかないままに開かれており、その行方は観る者の方に託されているのである。
This is a scene from a multi-character mono-opera in which the singer plays four characters involved in or affected by a subway bombing: the perpetrator, a news presenter, a survivor, and a victim. Can we understand? The title of the opera is "Plat Home," and the scene is the final scene, titled "Dead End: Dialogue Between the Girl and the Terrorist." In this scene, the victim, an immigrant girl, talks to the terrorist, a man, while waiting at an otherworldly station for a train bound for the netherworld. Although the two characters no longer despise one another, time passes without them finding any option other than terrorist violence. Were they both seeking the same kind of justice? Their dialogue continues forever, with no train ever arriving. Their dialogue evokes the contradictions in the society in which they lived and the difficulties in seeing eye to eye. The opera’s open ending, with the dialogue never coming to any conclusion, leaves the audience to decide how it would all end.

作曲家 デンマーク政府給費奨学生としてデンマーク王立音楽院院修士課程修了 映画、アニメーション、文学、舞踏作品など領域横断的な制作を行う 近年の主な作品に、『ヴァイオリン協奏曲』(2018)、オペラ《PLAT HOME》(2020)、《17 Etudes 》Piano × Dance(2021) 2024年には、作曲・脚本・芸術監督を務めるオペラとラップをミックスした舞台『長い終わり』が初演予定
About the composer With support from Danish Government Scholarship, completed a master’s program at the Royal Danish Academy of Music. His interests extend across a broad spectrum, covering film, animation, literature, and dance. His recent works include "Violin Concerto" (2018), the opera "Plat Home" (2020), and "17 Etudes—Piano and Dance" (2021). He has composed the music for, scripted, and served as the artistic director for the hip-hop opera "Long Ending," which will debut in 2024.
