平和を象徴する鳩の標本(＝死体)です。壮大な祈り，無力な祈り。
This is a dove specimen (a dead dove). A dove symbolizes peace. The specimen, therefore, expresses an ambitious prayer, a powerless prayer.
曾 斯琴
ZENG SIQIN
1996年中国湖南省生まれ。清華大学（北京）美術学部工芸専攻卒業。東京藝術大学美術研究科工芸科染織分野修士修了、現在同研究室博士後期課程在籍。工芸技術を根底として、社会や人々との関係性に主眼を置き、ジャンルを超える多岐なアプローチをとることで、現代社会に溶け込む染織作品を創り出すことを目指している。
Born in 1996 in Hunan, China. She completed an arts and crafts course at Tsinghua University’s Academy of Arts and Design and then completed a textile arts master’s at the Graduate School of Fine Arts, Tokyo University of Arts. She is currently enrolled in a doctoral program at the Tokyo University of Arts. She uses arts and crafts to explore the relationship between society and the individuals therein. Taking a variety of approaches that span different genres, she creates textiles that blend into contemporary society.
