「We are marching towards non-existent（私たちは非存在へ行進している）」は、スウェーデンのマルメにあるリリス・パフォーマンス・スタジオが生み出したデュレーショナル・パフォーマンスです。この作品では木製の動く構造物、600枚もの古着のTシャツ、そして独りで暮らす日本人女性を扱った2チャネルの映像ドキュメンタリーを活用して、様々な側面から独りで生きる人生を刺激します。これは、パフォーマーの行為を通じて人生の痕跡を伝えようと試みているのです。 「私たちは人だらけの世界に生きています。誰もが自分の選択に沿ってそれぞれの人生を生きています。私たちは自分たちを強くしてくれる孤立や孤独の感情に直面しますが、これらは他者との関係性が私たちにとってどれだけ重要なのかを忘れさせてしまうものでもあります。この作品は、誰もが直面するものでありながら考えない孤独と死というテーマを扱っています」 - サリーナ・サッタポン
We are marching towards non-existent' is a durational performance created at Lilith Performance Studio in Malmo, Sweden. The piece simulates the life of being alone in various aspects, using wooden moving structures, 600 second-hand T-shirts, and a two-channel video documentary featuring Japanese women who live alone. It aims to convey the traces of lives through the actions of the performers. “We live in a world full of people. Everyone lives their life according to their own choices. We face feelings of isolation and loneliness that make us stronger, but they also make us forget how important our relationships with others are. This work is about loneliness and death—common experiences that everyone has to face but rarely thinks about.” - Sareena Sattapon.

1992年、タイ生まれ。サリーナ・サッタポンは東京藝術大学でグローバルアートプラクティスの博士号取得に取り組んでいるビジュアルアーティストである。 サッタポンはパフォーマンス、インスタレーション、写真など、様々な媒体を扱う。彼女は自分自身の経験や日常生活から芸術的なインスピレーションを得ている。サッタポンの関心は死や孤独と関係する芸術作品の儚さにある。 サッタポンはタイ、香港、シンガポール、韓国、中国、インドネシア、ドイツ、ポーランド、ウクライナ、スロバキア、ノルウェー、スウェーデン、日本など、世界各地で展覧会を行った経験を持つ。
Born 1992, in Thailand. Sareena Sattapon is a visual artist who is currently completing a PhD in Global Art Practice, at Tokyo University of the Arts. Sattapon works with various mediums such as performance, installation and photography. She gets her artistic inspiration from her experiences and ordinary life. Sattapon’s interest in the impermanence of artworks, related to death and solitude. She has had exhibitions internationally: in Thailand, Hong Kong, Singapore, Korea, China, Indonesia, Germany, Poland, Ukraine, Slovakia, Norway, Sweden and Japan.
