この作品は羽化不全の蝶をイメージして制作している。女性の背中に拡がる何かわからないものは潰れてしまった羽だ。羽化ができなければ蝶は飛べずにその一生を終えてしまう。一生は瞬きのようである。どんな姿であっても、自分を受け入れ、生を全うすること。それが個人の平和であると考える。自分を受け入れ、相手も受け入れられたら少しずつ平和な世界が訪れるのではないだろうか。
This work was produced from the image of an imperfectly emerged butterfly. The unidentifiable matter spread on the woman's back denotes the crushed wings. A butterfly that cannot emerge will end its life without being able to fly. Its life will pass in the blink of an eye. Accept yourself and fulfill your life, no matter how you look. I believe that is individual peace. If we accept ourselves and are accepted by others, too, maybe a peaceful world will gradually emerge.
