「深呼吸」、「お月さまを」、「月から」、「デパートの窓」という何気ない日常を可愛らしく描かれた新美南吉の4つの詩を温かい音色の木管楽器とピアノ、歌の演奏で表現しました。また同時に、それぞれの詩からイメージされた色彩豊かな4枚の日本画を展示し、詩・音楽・美術が融合された新しい芸術空間を創造しました。私達は、これらの4つの詩に表されている「何気ない朝にふと深呼吸をすること」、「月からいつも全てのものに平等に光が照らされていること」、「時計が鳴って、デパートに人々が集まること」、これらのようなありふれた日常こそが平和であり、このかけがえのない日常が永遠と続いて欲しいという思いを込めて、この素敵な詩を用いて作り上げました。
This piece represents four poems by Nankichi Niimi that lovingly depict everyday occurrences in a nonchalant manner. The poems—Deep Breathing, [gazing at] the Moon, From the Moon, and Department Store Window—are sung to the accompaniment of the warm timbre of woodwind and piano. The piece also features four Japanese-style paintings that vividly depict the four poems. A new kind of art space is created by this fusion of media—poetry, music, and visual art. We believe that true peace lies in the everyday, commonplace scenes depicted in the poems: in doing some deep breathing on a perfectly ordinary morning, in the Moon casting its light upon everyone equally, in people flocking into a department store as the clock chimes. We reproduced the four wonderful poems in the hope that this invaluable normalcy may continue forever.

SHIKADA AI
北海道札幌市出身。電子オルガンを播磨麻耶氏、鳥居達子氏、渡辺睦樹氏に師事。現在、東京藝術大学音楽学部音楽環境創造科3年次在籍。作曲を田村文生氏に師事。2017年YECグランドファイナル中学生部門第3位。幼少期より絵本や写真集、小説を題材とした楽曲創作を行いヤマハJOCにて自作自演で発表。作曲に加えアンサンブル東風への編曲「マ・メールロワ」をはじめとした様々な編曲活動も行う。
SHIKADA AI was born in Sapporo, Hokkaido. She learned to play the electric organ from Maya Harima, Satoko Torii, and Mutsuki Watanabe. She is a third-year student at the Department of Musical Creativity and the Environment, Tokyo University of Arts. She is learning musical composition from Fumio Tamura. In 2017, she competed in the Yamaha Electone Festival, placing third in the junior high school category. Since a young age, she has composed musical pieces, taking up themes from picture books, photo curation, and novels, and she created and performed her original music for Yamaha’s Junior Original Concert. She has also arranged music, including arranging the Ma mère l’Oye suite for Ensemble Kochi.
